Midface lift aims to surgically correct sagging, volume loss, and tissue laxity that occur over time in the cheek and under-eye area. This procedure supports the cheek and under-eye area upward to give midface tissues a younger and more rested appearance.

Stages of the Procedure
1. General anesthesia
Performed under general anesthesia.
2. Planning of incisions
Incisions are mostly made from the scalp or lash line. Thus, scars are minimally visible.
3. Release and lifting of midface tissues
Soft tissues in the cheek and lower eyelid area are released at the anatomical level and repositioned upward.
4. Fixation and closure
Tissues are fixed in their new position and incisions are closed with aesthetic sutures.
Recovery Process
- Mild swelling and bruising in the first week is normal.
- Cold application and keeping the head elevated reduce edema.
- Sutures are removed within 7–10 days.
- Final facial contour settles within a few weeks.
