Cat Eyes and Fox Eyes Aesthetics
Anatomically supporting the outer corner of the eye to gain a more slanted and dynamic appearance
Cat Eyes and Fox Eyes aesthetics are surgical approaches that aim to give a more slanted, rested, and youthful expression by slightly pulling the outer canthus of the eye upward. Both techniques are essentially based on the principle of repositioning the lateral canthus (outer corner of the eye).

Who is it Suitable For?
- Patients whose outer corner of the eye is naturally low
- Those who want to give the eye shape a slight slant and dynamic expression
- Individuals with a slight lifting need in lateral lid support
- Patients seeking a fashionable and aesthetic trend-compliant, understated but slightly slanted eye structure
Stages of the Procedure
1. Local anesthesia
The eye area is numbed with local anesthesia. Light sedation may be added if needed.
2. Release of lateral canthus
The canthus region at the outer corner of the eye is released with a small incision.
3. Repositioning of canthus upward
The lateral canthus is fixed to a slightly upward position anatomically. This gives the outer corner of the eye a more slanted appearance.
4. Closure
The incision line is closed with fine sutures and planned to leave minimal scar.
Recovery Process
- Mild swelling and bruising may occur in the first few days.
- Cold compresses and keeping the head elevated reduce edema.
- Sutures are usually removed within 5–7 days.
- Eye shape reaches its final form within a few weeks.
Advantages
- Provides a more rested and slanted expression around the eye.
- Lateral canthus support offers a natural lifting effect.
- A slight aesthetic touch is achieved without exaggeration.
